Create and Manage CRD Package Schedules
Create CRD packages and package schedules, configure Crystal Reports and data-driven fields, and retrieve or remove schedules.
Before you begin
Authenticate with the CRD API. Have the folder path and report identifiers for the package, and use the request schema for the operation you are calling.
Create a package
Use Packages — Create. Its request includes fields for the package name and folder path, schedule, email destinations, data-driven settings, threading, description and keywords, and PDF or Excel merge options.
Add the Crystal Reports entries to CrystalReports. For a data-driven package, use DataDriven and DataDriver as defined by the request schema. The schema also lists GroupByEmail, MultiThreaded, and ThreadCount for package configuration.
Retrieve package details and reports
Use Packages — Get with the package identifier in its path to retrieve a package. Use GetReportsInPackage to list the reports included in that package.
Create and manage a package schedule
Use Package schedules — Create to create a package schedule. Its request includes CrystalReports and schedule, destination, data-driven, threading, and merge fields. Use the request schema for the operation you are calling; the Package/Create and PackageSchedule/Create operations have separate contracts.
Retrieve one schedule with Get. Search schedules with GetAll, which accepts FilterValues, FilterOperator, and MatchType in its request. Delete a package schedule with Delete using its required schedule identifier.
