Operate the API and Scheduler

Check CRD service reachability and manage scheduler state.

Check availability

  • GET /api/Service/Ping tests API connectivity and does not require a token.
  • GET /api/Service/IsSchedulerRunning reports whether the scheduler is running.

A successful Ping confirms the API service responded; it does not confirm that the scheduler is running.

Start or stop

  • GET /api/Service/StartScheduler
  • GET /api/Service/StopScheduler

These operations change scheduler state even though the API uses GET. Restrict them to authorized operators and use only as part of an approved operational procedure. Check scheduler state again afterward.
