Inspect and Control CRD Executions
Check execution status and use the queue, cancellation, and termination operations according to their documented behavior.
Before you begin
Authenticate with the CRD API. Keep schedule IDs, execution IDs, and process IDs distinct; each operation's reference defines which identifier it accepts.
Inspect execution status and capacity
- Use GetExecutionStatus with its documented identifier to check an execution.
- Use GetExecutionQueue to inspect the execution queue.
- Use GetNumberOfFreeThreads to retrieve the capacity value described by that operation.
Follow each response schema when interpreting the returned status or values.
Stop or terminate work
Use CancelExecution when the operation's documented cancellation behavior applies. Use TerminateSchedule only with the identifier and conditions described in that operation's reference. Cancellation and termination are distinct operations; do not substitute one for the other or pass a schedule ID where a process or execution ID is required.
Continue monitoring
After a control operation, check its response and use the appropriate status operation to confirm the resulting state. For the broader monitoring workflow, see Monitor, Recover, and Reconcile Executions.
